For the last 3 months, I feel like I’ve jumped through all sorts of hoops to keep the weight loss going. I’ve tried various things, which I won’t go over. All great ideas no doubt, but I’m tired of stressing. And deep down I know part of my problem IS the stressing. So… I’ve decided, at least until the new year, I’m not going to worry about anything other than eating keto. I will keep my fat up, my carbs down, but not necessarily worry about protein (I rarely go above 100g a day, but struggle to keep it below 70 AND feel satisfied.) I do plan to throw in some IF and EF here and there since that’s easy and usually stress-free. I also don’t plan to hop on the scales every morning (my bad habit), although I do plan to weigh myself at least on the 1st of each month (and take measurements). I’ve lost 54 pounds so far, and I’ve come to the conclusion that that’s good enough for this year and maybe my body just needs some time at this weight. I kept pushing myself because I’m so close to “ONE-derland.” But maybe that’s an accomplishment for 2018.

I hope that by the end of the year you will decide you like not stressing so much that you will keep it going.

I’m keto for life, so I’ll always stay keto. After the new year, maybe I’ll try some of the other methods (like keeping protein low, etc). But TBH, if I find that my weight drifts down by NOT stressing over the next 3 months, I really don’t care if it takes me 3 years to lose everything
Just to be clear–the 54 pounds lost was while doing keto. It’s just the last few months I feel like I’ve been stressing over HOW best to do keto to keep the weight loss coming.
That’s great. As a side note I don’t think your protein is very high to begin with.

I think you have come up with a good plan. Great work on getting rid of those 54 lbs. that is awesome.
Relax and enjoy, keep the carbs low, protein and fats to satisfy your hunger, and KCKO. Fasting is an excellent idea, but again don’t stress about it. If you start a fast and you are not feeling well. Stop and refeed, then when you feel like fasting, do it. I lost my final poundage by doing that, I have been maintaining since the end of April.
Just 3 1/2 days so far. I usually aim for 3 days, but next time I just want to see how I feel.
