Hello Vasundhara.
Body odor is usually from overproduction of ketones. These wasted ketones can leave our bodies when we urinate, when we sweat or are expelled in our breath. The better our body gets at ketone production, the less waste there is.
Another thing to consider is that small amounts of chemicals and toxins get trapped in our fat cells when we ate unhealthy foods. When we burn that fat, the chemicals and toxins are released and could be part of the body odor you experienced when you did keto before. Perhaps your fat is not as polluted as before and/or releasing it very slowly isn’t releasing noticeable toxic odors. I honestly don’t think not being smelly should be a concern.
Lastly, losing weight on keto becomes harder and harder, the more times we leave it and try it again. Our bodies learn that maybe the lack of carbs is just a temporary thing and giving up fat isn’t necessary just yet. It’s willing to make small adjustments with metabolism, like increase the release of stress hormones which is very good at preventing weight loss.
The answer is you may need to be a little more strict than when you did keto before. Maybe fewer carbs is necessary. Maybe artificial sweeteners need to be avoided. Maybe less dairy and nuts will help.
