Not eating enough

Yes, I’m sure a limited pool (and we are a limited pool) of personal antidotes overrides scientific evidence. And btw, you can search and find just as many examples here of people who are dealing with excessive hunger. People tend to see what they want to reinforce their beliefs and ignore things that counter it.

Also, many of those same people who post that they aren’t hungry are doing so in conjunction with posting about their weight loss stalls. That’s how most of them start off. “I’m stuck… I can’t lose any more weight… I’m not hungry so I can’t eat more…”

I’m sorry, but it’s really unrealistic to say 95% of the people who fail on CICO diets do so because of some flaw in them (can’t control themselves, want to over indulge, have no will power) vs just recognizing it’s a flaw in the approach.

You clearly think it’s working for you. Great. Keep doing what you’re doing if you’re happy with it. But at least do some research on it. Read The Obisity Code, then come back with critiques if you want.

LOL! I’m 4’11" and weigh 142 at this point. How does that sound?

I did better today in getting my calories up and my macros in. Today my calories were 1321 and I was at 7%, 70%, 24%. This was a real effort! I am literally never hungry except when I first get up in the morning. I have always eaten low fat and I think I’m having trouble getting used to being satiated with all the fat I’m eating.

Ok
So you fit directly in to the unless part…
First piece of advice is dump the %, you should follow target macros. Telling me a % means nothing, as they skew with amount of intake were as macros are hard numbers. when you break down the calories into macros it will tell you much more as to if you are eating enough of fat and protien from a diagnostic stand point.
Satiety takes a while, I used full for a long time, people who have been chronic dieters also seem to have issues with it for a while esp trying to get enough in. In terms of making the macros if you are close that works, the macros based on most calculators are guides, if you are within a few grams either side it will not matter whole lot. The idea for hitting the macros is to help you understand what you need. Thinking about being full is not helpful, thinking that the fat is making you full is also not helpful. Don’t stress about the fat, you are still a earlier on. For me things would change wildly in the first couple months many of us are hungry one day and the next barely at all. If you stick with it fat adaption will provide a much more steady sense of hunger/satiety(but not always).
