Hello, so I’ve been cutting back on carbs for a couple weeks and for the last ten days I’ve woken up with ketones around 1.0. However, I feel horrible. The headaches, nausea, stomach aches, and dizzy spells will just not go away. I also feel very weak and tired. Is this normal keto flu and is it supposed to go away at some point? I’m about ready to say this just isn’t for me. Any thoughts?
Normal keto flu?

No I haven’t tried supplementing with anything. What am I supposed to supplement with?

salt salt salt!
Pink Himalayan salt is key, also “lite” salt (which is partially potassium)
You NEED potassium, sodium, magnesium and zinc. Take a swig of pickle juice if you’re in a bind, and add salt to your food.
It DOES pass, but man you feel like SHIT during this time for sure.
Sleep if you can, salt consistently!

And then, on top of what Crystal said, add a little more salt! And, drink more water. And add more salt. The pink kind is better because it contains other minerals.

I’m just now getting over the flu, sore throat, fever, run down. But taking my Vitamin C and lots of salt. Even beef bullion cubes to ease my sore throat.
