I’ve been on keto for the past month and doing good. Losing 2 to 3 pounds per week up until this week. I’ve lost nothing. Nothing has changed. Foods have been the same, etc. any ideas what’s going on?

Hi Crystal,
Welcome to the forum. Nothing is wrong. Your first fat loss is water weight. Keep your carbs under 20 grams, fat to satiety, moderate protein. You’re still very new to keto. Men lose faster than women and I’ve read the heavier you are the more you lose in the beginning… Keto is not a Sprint it’s a marathon with lots of up and downs ( literally) a long the way. I gained weight in the very beginning but lost it a month later. Are you insulin resistant? Makes a difference in your weight loss journey. Keto is different for each person. So keep calm and keto on. Listen to the 2keto dudes podcast.

Thanks for your encouragement! I’m thinking maybe the first month was a lot of water weight.
