Then skip veggies except a few cups of plain greens with olive oil, s&,p.

Oh don’t get me started! It’s almost like they feel they have to provide a calorie number because it’s a diet… gives completely the wrong impression. I hate those calculators.
Thanks so much Dave, can I ask what you ate that was 0 carbs, did you eat chicken eggs lamb meats that’s kinda it ?
Thanks Annie, I’m really scared to eat more than 1200 cause it’s planted in my heads since the days of childhood
This isn’t a fast weight loss crash diet.
-You’re probably too low on calories.
-Make sure you’re eating whole foods, rather than chugging oils (if you’re doing this). Fats from meat, dairy, eggs, etc. are far more ideal as that is where essential fat-soluble vitamins would be coming from.
-You’re too high on carbs, drop it to 20 total, and do not subtract fiber or anything else to create “net carbs”.
-Your body is adapted to 1200 calories, so it’s going to maintain its weight if you keep eating that. You need to undulate or titrate your calories, meaning increase them for a while, then reduce by say, 500, and slowly increase back up from there. Then repeat.
(example: A friend’s wife was 122lbs, at 1200 calories. She started doing this and is now 98lbs, more toned and less flabby, and eats 2400 cal per day instead.)
Fast weight loss is possible but not always possible for everyone. Women especially are all over the board with results, as their hormones can tend to fluctuate in different ways than men (as far as we know).
With all that said, don’t get discouraged. Stay the course. I think you can totally lose at least close to that weight for October if you stick to this advice.
This is something you really need to work on if you want to heal your body and have success with this lifestyle
When trying to eat 0 carbs, I eat eggs (omelets sauteed in coconut oil and ghee), bacon, chicken broth, salmon, fish oil capsules, coffee with MCT Oil and ghee, New York strip steak, chicken thighs, cheese and heavy whipping cream (yes, yes, yes, forum nannies, I know there are some carbs in this stuff, it’s not technically 0 carbs, it’s close enough, go pound sand). When I add in veggies, I minimize carbs by eating avocado, spinach, kale, cauliflower, cabbage and onions. (for example spinach, kale and onions sauteed in coconut oil, olive oil, and ghee with parmesan cheese on top, yum).
There are GREAT Keto recipes at DietDoctor.com - I am fairly addicted to their spinach frittata recipe (hint: add in parmesan cheese and sliced jalapenos, yum):
Forgive my insensitivity – this ain’t working for you. I’d be really scared of continuing to do what you’ve seen with your own eyeballs does not work. To confront your fears and do what scares you is a great thing, worth doing for its own sake. I suggest trying the scary things that people suggest and see what happens.
