Hi all,
Newbie question here. I’m on day 7 and have consistently eating 10 net grams of carbs per day. Fats 150g and protein 105g.
Is 10 grams too low to start.
Cheers!

Hi,
It depends what your numbers were before (net carbs), and how you are feeling now. If you are coming from SAD, 10 might be too low and a gentle progression might be easier. You need to see how you are feeling and gage it.
Also once you are fat adapted, you can measure your carb threshold and what number is the max that you’ll stay in ketosis.
I prefer tracking total, and not net, carbs. Regardless, we don’t need to eat carbs at all. The 20 grams is more of an accommodation than a requirement.
No, there’s no such thing as too low carbs as there is no essential life sustaining need for carbs. You can do zero carbs if you like.
