New to this and loving it but

I promise, I don’t stress over it but now I’ve got really irritated by it…no weight loss or measurement loss, that’s pretty strange no?

I’m female, 5"6 and 162lbs. In the beginning I was eating less, then someone on here said too low, so ate more, then someone else said 1600 cals. Regardless, I’ve not lost weight or measurements on any of those🤔

Are you counting the carbs in the mayo and pepperami? Are you drinking anything other than water throughout the day?

I’m not in agreement with people who insist that you have to be at a certain calorie count to restart your metabolism. I think keto works much better when you let your body tell you what it needs in the way of calories but you have to be honest with yourself and eat until you are truly satisfied at meal times and not try to calorie restrict. I’ve got all the way down to 108 now doing this and I very much doubt that I ever ate 1600 calories while doing it. What I did do though was a fair bit of OMAD. If I were you, I’d seriously consider ditching the breakfast. Your body needs a break from insulin in order to start using fuel from your fat stores. If you are insulin resistant then three meals a day may be keeping your insulin too elevated throughout the day. You should be fat adapted enough by now that leaving off breakfast shouldn’t be that hard. Try having your first food well into the afternoon. Have two meals. Eat until you are satisfied while sticking to LC/HF and stop even thinking about calories. Keto is not supposed to be a diet about calories at all.

Your where you should be on calories.
1564 calories on my calculator and your percentages look right.
What are you drinking during the day? Are there liquid carbs you are missing? Artificial sweeteners? Homemade mayo or store bought? Does your pepperami have glucose in it? (some does)

Just usual Hellmans mayo, and all I drink is coffee (no sweeteners, very rarely stevia) and water. I used my fitness pal to work out carbs/fat/protein, I understand this is a pretty accurate app.

I can skip breakfast no problem, I have unintentionally today…but if I skip breakfast, do I still eat the 1600 cals between the 2 meals or reduce it?

Something is wrong and I just don’t know what it is…I understand its not always measured on the scale, so I should look for measurement loss, but that’s not happening either.

I honestly do feel really lost. Should I alternate days of 1600 cals and 2000+ …would this help? I don’t want to send myself to be adding more weight though, god no…

It’s too early to know if it’s not working. For some folks it takes more than two months to even begin to show results. Hang in there, skip breakfast, try to get all your calories in over two meals. Just bide your time, it’s been very slow for me but it did work. I saw progress over months, not weeks. If you enjoy the food & you feel better, just keep at it.

I echo @LizinLowell and suggest to give it time. Like I stated earlier, took 10 weeks for me to see movement. KCKO

Ok, so it got to about 6pm last night and, no idea what the trigger was, but I cheated:weary:

However, when I woke up this morning something was different, cant put my finger on it, but I had no desire to eat, no hunger and its about 24hrs so far and I still haven’t eaten a morsel…and I have no urge too. Oddly still, my stomach has started doing a silent grumble but I don’t want food at all?

Now is it some odd reason because I cheated or have I now become fully fat adapted?
