New to Keto with kidney pain

I’m new to keto diet, a little over 2 months now and I have lost 43 pounds. Needless to say is I’m very pleased with my results. I thought that I could stick to this diet. I have been having back pain for 3 weeks now. I always had kidney stones so I know kidney pain. My diet Dr. gave me some antibiotics because I told him I was sure it was a kidney infection. I took all the antib. and pain is worst. I drink at least a gallon a day of water. 5 days ago I noticed I wasn’t urinating much but still drinking all that water. It scared me and I came off the diet. My back pain has eased some and I’m using the bathroom a lot more. I read in a forum about nitrogen building in urine. Like I said I’m new to keto and it was working, but I cant shut my kidneys down. I need advice.

I had this during adaptation and was given masses of antibiotics that didn’t help. What did actually help was drinking baking soda dissolved in warm water and reducing protein intake.
