Hey so Im 15 years old and have recently been doing 16/8 fasting and 20/4 keto on busy nights?
I have tried keto in a variety of ways and ran cross country on very very low carbs like less than 15 and very high fat and managed well in ketosis but my cholesterol went up a little too high so I implemented fasting and no dairy and my cholesterol dropped better than all my family so I just do that now since that is what leaves me more healthy and works best for me.
Now I know soccer is very high intensity so 40 carbs should be fine for you ,
but I usually do 20-30 at max.
,lift for about 7-10 hours a week,
and have recently decided to stop running so much and do more weight lifting too make some gains as I chose believe more muscle is key to longevity rather than being a skinny runner, I never did keto for weight loss approach but what I can say is that amazingly keto helped me gain 15 pounds ,and drop body fat from 16% to 11%. along with a bmi of 21.

250x9= 2225 cal from fat, 125x4= 500 from protein and 40-20x4 = <150 from carb so like <2900 calories
…doesn’t sound that much like a cutting diet as that’s only 100 cal less than what I eat ,and I eat 3000 a day in 1 or 2 meals and consider that bulking along with far fewer grams of carbs than you and a 55/45 fat too protein ratio so… we should talk and make some adjustments but initially keto at first does make you almost immediately drop 3-5 pounds in a week so it can vary but we should definitely contact each other
