Thank you for the notice. I just finished listening and really enjoyed this one. I’m hoping there will be more to come of Jason and Megan and this particular format. How do we find this podcast (what will the name be)? I’m eager to put it in my podcast app so I don’t miss any.

Amazing show. Best format yet of any podcast I’ve listened to. Really feels like a professional podcast documentary with Carl narrating through the show and the fantastic atmosphere with music to code by running the the background

Good job dudes! (And everyone involved, including those who donate through patreon)

I was enjoying the podcast until my internet went out for several hours, have to get back to it tomorrow. I enjoy hearing from the IDM patients, about their experiences. One big take-home I gathered so far is that sweeteners are on the chopping block, including (and especially) stevia. I have noticed that the gurus out there conflict on that. I submitted a question about the trouble I’ve been having with insulin, but I have a feeling I already know what Dr. Fung or Megan would suggest if they answered it: no more sweeteners, at least during a fast, even (esp) stevia.

It was like 2KD lounge mix. So cruisey and interesting.

Two thumbs up!

I really liked this podcast. I love hearing stories about people that used this WOE to overcome intense situations. That’s what drew me to 2KD in the first place. I’d love to listen to more.

The quality of the podcast was amazing and professional. It sounded just like a Netflix Documentary.

I hope they filmed the interviews too. With a few more interviews, they could get it on Netflix to counter that What the Health documentary.

The format was excellent, it was a lot like the Serial Podcast. I can’t wait to hear more of these in the future.

I feel compelled to say one thing at the risk of sounding petty, when people make a whistling/slithering noise every time they say anything with an ssssss it completely turns me off to listening to them speak. I had to skip over the interview parts with Marie for this reason. I wonder if there is a way to filter out this annoyance in the future? Sounds petty but I find it almost unbearable.

Easily the best 2KD podcast ever. The content was excellent. The mix of various experts going through the history of current dietary recommendations and why they’re wrong while mixed with Carl’s music and narration made it easier and more pleasant to listen to and digest (every pun intended) for the general populace. Two thumbs up. Hopefully IDM and Attia’s similar firm continue to grow and are able to sponsor shows as they get paid for their genuine services instead of pharma hawking snake oil.

Whoa!
Listening to this podcast right now.
Soooo much better. I’m being blown away. I can’t concentrate with work at work. I’m captivated!

This podcast could easily be mistaken for a NPR investigative piece. I can not imagine the intensive effort it took to produce and selfishly wonder if the production of this could limit the 2KD podcast that I also enjoy? If I had to choose, IDK which way I would currently go, both formats are so valuable to me.

The style, content and personal nature of this podcast lent itself well to me after I dropped my bias of expecting a Q & A based on listening to other podcasts. Then I could hear the narrative tell me a story I became involved in, occasionally saying, huh, that sounds like me OR my wife Jamie must listen to this, this is her story. The struggles are so similar. Because I identified I also became more entrenched in listening to the application of the information.

I now want to pound the door down to hear other Obesity Code podcasts, so gal and fellas, get cracking!!!.

PS: Is there a patreon account for this as well?

This episode was fantastic for so many reasons. I can’t wait until it is published on its own. In the mean time, I need to re-listen to the Pilot.

Not a fan of The Space Show with Dr David Livingstone ?
