Yes!

Common with a big change like this.

If you are a coffee drinker, cut your consumption in half ASAP.

Hi Lynne, I can’t tell you why but I suspect it may be something to do with your brain running on a higher octane fuel. I had the same experience quite awhile ago now and I used prescription melatonin to address it. Worked fine, only had to take it for a week to get into a normal sleep cycle again.
Good luck!

hi, yes I found my sleep was all over the place. But don’t worry after a couple of weeks it all settles back down.

I found out Keto was not simply about “weight loss”. One of the many benefits is greater energy. In the first couple of weeks this is a bit of a hassle. But then again, it was good to be alive again.

I recon it was because I had one coffee too many. On the SAD diet I needed that extra boost and I keep that habit up when I went into nutritional ketosis but it wasn’t required so … energy overload. At least that’s my theory.

The fix was to simply hang in there, let keto adaption take its course and go easy on the extra coffees.

Cheers
