Need some advice on my Progress

I have been on the keto diet for the last 60 days and I have lost 6.5 kgs (14 pounds). I had taken 2 breaks for a total of 10 days since i was travelling. I have not been able to exercise since of my tight work schedule. I started with a fat percentage of 32.5% and now i am 29.8%.

Is the weight loss a good amount for the last 60 days or should i review what i am doing?

I am planning to start weight training from tomorrow. My end goal is to reach 25% body fat.

Taking breaks from keto is tricky since it can take days to return to ketosis, but it sounds to me like you’re doing great and can be proud of your progress.

You should plan your next travels so you can keto while travelling next time.

Weight training is great for your long term health.

Agree with everyone that it’s probably best to tweak things while traveling so that you don’t have too much of change - but otherwise it sounds like you’re right on track, and adding weight training is a great idea!

I think it’s a good amount of weight loss. You’ve already made substantial progress toward your goal, and in just a couple months. You have years stretching out ahead of you. Who knows - especially with the weight training added in - you may gain some new goals along the way.

Thank you everyone. You guys make me feel much better. I started weight training from today. I actually enjoy it. I have also changed my short term goal to 20% body fat in the next 2 months and continue this and increase my muscle weight.
