Need info on kcals and keto diet app

I just started the Keto diet for weight loss. I have a keto app, that I plug everything into, and I have questions about kcals, fat and protein intake, and exercise. If someone could explain kcals to me, I would appreciate it. Because I’ve tried understanding what I find on google and it’s just not working. I’m very confused. My app has me eating about 1500kcals a day, which going by google, means 15 calories? But that doesn’t sound right. I watch my carb intake more than anything, with fat intake being my second most important. And staying within my carb limits somehow keeps me under my kcal limits. But there’s no way I’m only eating 15 calories a day…

No, the term calories in this case is an abbreviation of kilocalories. They mean 1500 calories, not 15. (thank goodness.) :grin:
