Need help - boob problem 😢

#1

Hi everyone, I started keto about a month ago, just before my period.

Two days ago, I noticed that my one boob is smaller then the other :flushed:. My hubby doesn’t see it, but I do! I thought maybe I lost more fat in my right boob, because I use right arm more, and sleep on my left side (maybe slowing blood circulation to left side?)

…it gets worse.

Well, today my pre-menstrual symptoms have kicked in, and I’m getting regular soreness and swelling only in my already bigger boob (left side)!!! My smaller boob is completely fine!!

I never had this in my life! It was always same for both my boobs. I’m positive it has something to do with the diet… But will it pass? Or will I be unevenly distributed like this for the rest of my life?

Please help

None of us are perfectly even. I certainly noticed it more as I was a growing teen. However it you are noticing discomfort past your period or noticed unusual lumps, please get checked.

We aren’t perfectly symmetrical. One foot is larger than the other…one hand is larger…your nails aren’t exactly the same on both hands and same for your toenails. You just don’t notice those things so much…same goes for the tata’s. It’s not the diet, it’s just that you have more awareness now that you’re losing weight.

No two boobs are created equal, even on the same chest.

My right boob has always been bigger, not freakishly enough for anyone to notice, but I certainly do. Being a little uneven is totally normal.

Maybe you’re seeing such a difference because of the weight loss, where as before when they were bigger it wasn’t as noticeable?

Ditto those above, but regarding the pain, I get occassional pain in my breasts. I talked to my dr about it, worried about cancer and whatnot, and was told that pain is almost never an indicator of cancer. So there’s that.

I couldn’t help but to notice regular pain/discomfort in both breasts since I started losing more weight/fat. It’s a daily thing at this point. Most noticeable when I take my bra off. They feel heavy, as though they could slide off my chest down to the floor. I haven’t seen my doctor yet because I keep putting it off. My breasts have gotten
significantly smaller. I figured the feeling may be because they are going through changes right now…

Thank you Karen - I’ll keep monitoring, hopefully it gets back to normal after period :disappointed: I’m a little scared…

Yeah?? Oh God I hope so!! I’ll wait and see… Thank you!!

Maybe… I hope so… I had my hubby inspect me this morning, and even he noticed that left side ā€˜is chubbier’ (his words hahah).

I don’t know… I’m pretty in tune with my body, I think I would have noticed the difference before… But who know :disappointed:

Well that’s great news!!! I hope it’s not cancer!!

But I also hope I won’t have to customize my bra in future, for big and small boob :disappointed:

Oh wow! I know that we store fat in boobs too, so I’m not surprised that they are getting smaller - in fact I’m supper happy about that, as I’m 36DD! I’m not sure about feeling pain all the time - I don’t have that unless I’m PMSing.

But are they getting smaller at same speed? Or is one skinnier then other? And if yes, did chubbier one catch up?!

I would really like them to keep their shape and get smaller, but maybe I can’t have it all :disappointed:

aahahahah OMG! Thank you :joy::joy::joy::joy: I’ll try it with accent! Thank you hahaha

They are the same size but I know it is common for them to be different as the others mentioned. I’m afraid we must take what we can get and embrace it. :relaxed:

When I first started following this way of eating I had months where my breast got really tender during my cycle, sometimes at unusual points of my cycle. A few times they even felt how they felt when I was pregnant. Tender and heavy. (A little freaky at 52.) It’s been a year. Now they don’t get tender at all.
