My Progress, Weight Loss and the Seasons

(Hank) #1

Between January and June I lost 65 pounds. from June until 1 November I maintained. Between 1 November and 7 December I gained 10. Since then my weight is down about 18 pounds.

no bread or sugar was consumed. I stayed on the straight and narrow. Nothing made any difference until the end. I tried exercise, fasting, time constrained eating, etc. no progress.

Since thee 8th I have had great success.

Looking back at my life I have always gained a ton of weight in the fall. I have always lost weight in the winter/spring.

I am begining to think this is related to the seasons. Opinion…

I would say it depends. I’ve typically gained a few pounds over the winter and lost it in the summer. Winter means holidays and feasts and way too many cookies and pies at arm’s reach. Summer means being more active, eating more meat and vegetables in season.

But all that changed since I started doing keto. I’ve lost 32 pounds since September 9th. I honestly believe our hormones don’t care what time of the year it is. They simply react to the variables we introduce to them. Introduce good variables and weight loss is assured… Introduce bad ones and we all know what happens.
