Type 2 and been Leto for about a year. I was 365 about three years ago and now about 215, about half that with Keto. My cholesterol numbers have always been within range. 3 months into keto my LDL was super high, I think 287 and HDL was like 46 and trig were 80. Doctor flipped and put me on a statin which I have been taking while doing keto. Just got numbers 9 months after those results and ldl 182 hdl 52 and trig 78. He wants me to stop now. My A1C is not great 6.8 so I need to work on that for sure. If I cheat for one meal it jacks up my glucose for a week. I only take metformin and used to take insulin. Any advice would be appreciated. I feel good at this weight but could maybe take off 20 more.
My numbers and advice welcomed

On mobile so I’ll keep it short.
Check out the threads on fasting, far and away it will have the biggest impact on resolving T2DM issues.
You can work up to it slowly by increasing the length of time between meals until you can do 24 hours and then keep increasing.
It would also help if you provided some examples of what you eat and how often since there are often things like artificial sweeteners that are often insulinogenic as well as hidden carbs.
