Just want to say I really get good info from the podcasts and they continue to be a source of reinforcement as well as motivation for myself. The process of learning never ends, and given the proper(correct) information, we are better equipped to make better choices. My 3 month update from yesterday. Down 13 more pounds from March weight now roughly 192 lbs. HbA1c at 6.3 down from 6.6, yeah actually felt a little disappointment that it wasn’t lower, but realize the recovery process is long. Doc cut back meds again, yes! Thats good! Plus, had C-reactive protein screened and reading was less than 2.9. So overall in the past couple years of learning, fasting is great btw, keto to ketoish times, 80lbs down and 33 since December 17. I’m planning more 48+ hour fasts for the next quarter to push A1c down below the 5.7 threshold. Success builds upon success, and keeps me in the game each day. A friend recently asked me to share IF, what I do so I did. His response was “That sounds awful” I responded with “Maybe so, but at this point I have to be as hard corps as possible to be successful” “Plus my new suit is 42R, not taking insulin and eliminated glipizide as well as cut Metformin back again, so it works” each day is a blessing and I’m in it to win. Thank you for letting me prattle a big. But the successes are amazing. Thank you also for the podcasts and for working with Dr Fung, The Obesity Code is what saved me.

My N=1 3 month update
My cousin weighing in at 250 likely with purple feet. Said “,yuck” at my dipping chicken breast in mayo. She was eating a sandwich. I asked if she thought it was healthier WITH the bread.

Yes, the bias is strong, just look at the foods that are subsidized which dates back to Mcgoverns committee from the 1970’s. But, take heart the tide is turning, nurse and doc yesterday are expressing like thoughts on low catb so the word is getting out more and more.
New NSV victory and general 3 month update. Hi all, time flies doesn’t it? Good news today at follow up with doc. A1C srtill not diabetic anymore and have been off all diabetes meds now for a month after my last ones ran out 5 weeks ago. With continued IF and EF, along with continuing keto and commitment, my readings are staying good. Just my periodic update, it certainly feels good😎
