Hi everyone. I’ve been doing keto for most of this pregnancy and thought I should give my experiences as it’s going so well. I’m now 30 weeks with my keto baby.
I’m not fasting, I eat when hungry. I drink my full electrolytes every day. I take pregnancy vitamin and mineral supplement, extra vitamin D, omega 3 and probiotics.
Keto baby is around 3lb. I have lipoedema and that’s why I’m keto and having learnt loads about its benefits for that and pregnancy I decided to do it. As of today I am 10lb lower than my booking in weight at the beginning of pregnancy. I usually weigh 14-20lb more than booking at this stage. I’ve had 5 babies before.

Oops very stupidly ate some carbs. Well my kitchen is gone as I’m awaiting someone putting in a new one. Not much choice but to eat out. Definitely think I’m fat adapted. It didn’t bother me much other than a bit of thirst and after just a 2lb gain I’m back on track. That will be off in a couple of days.
