My introduction and first post

True, but it is the start of a conversation about a new way to eat. Maybe it’s a nurse thing. I have a need to educate because that is what I have done my whole career. Only now I have to change my old ways of thinking about food and replace that information with what I have learned so far.

Welcome to the forum Kathleen. It’s a very serendipitous thing that you’ve found your way to this lifestyle change.
Just take it easy and humbly when it comes to evangelizing this nutritional option; some of us initially want to shout it to the ends of the world… and tend to get all wild-eyed and fanatical… hah…
Be safe… enjoy.

Oh, that sucked - been on WW many times. They say you can eat anything, but I was hungry all of the time and white knuckling it. I’d slip and eat something “bad,” and then I’d binge, feel guilty, and be off and running. Weigh-ins were humiliating and terrifying. Would pay my ten bucks and lose a half a pound. Honestly, and they say keto is not sustainable!

Wow, my props! That is great to strengthen your legs. Just started walking with my husband. We went for over an hour on Monday. It was wonderful. First time in many years.
