My husband is now keto

And I have discovered I have to share the steak. :frowning:

But seriously I am interested to see how it affects him. I think he is one of those people that has little problem with carbs. He did have an eating disorder as a teenager (thank you wrestling), but has never struggled with food since then. We are waiting on his genetic testing (another story) so we’ll see what that turns up and how keto proceeds!

Always a good thing to have others in the house following the same journey!! I’m sure he will do great with it!! I’m currently attempting to get my hubby to turn to the dark side lol!!! My kids made the decision to start keto when I did and they love it so far and have great results as well!! They are 11 and 15 and I have been really surprised with how well they are doing!!?

My husband went full Keto about three weeks ago and I am thrilled, but also kind of jealous. He can eat 40-60 grams of carbs a day (most from nuts and green veggies) and stay in ketosis. He also is struggling to eat enough to maintain his weight. He’s never had a weight problem and weighs about ~160 pounds on his 6’3" frame, so he doesn’t need or want to lose weight. He’s been shoveling in 3000+ calories and has still lost about 3 pounds and isn’t happy about it. He’s a good sport though. He’s ultimately hoping to gain muscle on this WOE.
