I’m doing my first fast ever and I would like you to take me company during this “trip”, maybe giving me some advice or telling me how your first fast was like. I ate my latest meal on Sunday at 12:00 and I’m planning on eating the Next one after 76h.

My first fast ever, any advice?
My only suggestion would be to ease into it a little slower. Maybe 24 or 36 hour fast to start with. I find evenings, to be the most difficult time, and it has been a struggle to get through an evening knocking around the house. My hunger doesn’t drive me to eat, but mentally, I’m inventorying the cupboards, the fridge, and sometimes I stumble. So I try to fast when the cupboards are bare. Also, i really dislike grocery shopping, so I can talk myself out of a late night shopping trip.
I agree with golfpsycho, start off slower. I have actually been able to do a couple 42 hours after doing 24hrs. I was actually fasting before doing keto and not realizing that I was so it may have been easier for me to get to 42 hours. If this is your first and you want to go that long I bet you will have a really difficult time.
My advice is listen carefully to your body. If you feel off for more than an hour, end the fast. It is not a competition, and there is always another day to fast.
But go for it, enjoy it, feel the ketones buzzing your brain, and love that empty stomach feeling.

24 H update:
After 24 hours I’m still not hungry and feel super energetic! I struggled Last night before going to sleep because even though I wasn’t hungry I feltlike I had to eat something before sleeping but I didn’t! The only downside is a slight headache but I’m not planning on stopping now!
If you get a bit hungry place a pinch of salt in your mouth. It seemed to help me get over it.
Yep, sea salt would work. I’ve used this trick as well: it works!!
Salt should help for your slight headache as well. Make sure you’re having lots of fluids.
I am on hour 24 of a 36hr fast myself. Going well, not hungry.
48h update.
I feel a bit tired and dizzy but surely not hungry. I want to keep fasting, at least for other 24 hours but maybe more. Other than water, what am I allowed to drink? Lemon juice? Coffee? Tea maybe? Or should I avoid those?
