My first 24 hour fast

Pretty cool…did a 24 hour fast for the first time on keto. Went swimming at the 20 hour mark and managed 750 yards. That was my record for a day and I felt great. I only left because of time constraints. I followed it up with a sous vide 1" thick and 1 pound ribeye (126° then seared on cast iron).

Simple right now as it was only my second cook. Ribeye was seasoned and cooked in an 8qt stock pot at 126° for about two and a half hours. I then seared in butter on a cast iron pan for a minute or two over medium high heat on each side and also seared the fat cap. My first cook was done similarly but with a venison backstrap (chop) for about 7 hours. That long of a cook was a bit too long as it was too tender for my liking. For some reason, I like my meat to fight back a little while eating. For example, I like don’t want rib meat to fall off the bone when I eat it. That said, I don’t like it like leather either so I try to find a balance.
