My body excrete liquid beyond imagination

I started on partial keto in early 2018

In mid 2018, I got very strict keto and continued til mid June 2020

in early 2020, I developed something that was not there before.

my body could not keep water, I became dehydrated with sever headaches (headaches always associated with dehydration )

The only way to get red of it is to drink too much water. I could drink 2 liters in one go, and 5 liters within 30 minutes. Only this way the headaches will go away.

But then very shortly my body excrete this water, and the cycles go back again.

It gotten so bad that I can not go anywhere because the need to go to bathroom.

I struggled in this situation, since the beginning of 2020 to mid June and was worried about my kidneys because such situation is very extreme and I can not express it enough.

So mid June I stooped taking my daily dosage of ghee, or sometimes butter which I do 3 or 4 times a day( about 3 full spoons a day) and increased my protein and carb (increased carb slightly)

Now back to normal after few days of this new routine.

In case you wondering about the salt, I was eating salty cheese, but not too much salt. If I take a small spoon of hemalian salt I feel like I want to through out my stomach.

What is going on?

Your losing water without losing electrolytes or too much sodium and/or potassium?

Frequent urination could be hypercalcenemia[4] or hyperaldosteronism[3] and if not, possibly symptoms of diabetes?

I know your not a beginner but may be it is due more specifically to sodium, potassium and other electrolyte imbalances?

Headaches are most likely caused by low blood sugars[2].

Magnesium regulates all electrolytes and some of these in your particular case might be further out of wack (unbalanced in ratio) like calcium and bicarbonate?

Good idea to see your doctor as soon as you can to get it checkout. Hopefully, it won’t be caused by anything serious.

Thanks

I have no clue why I did not suspect the salt.

It should have been no brainer.

For the last 8 months I was eating nothing except Hallomi cheese. Literaly no other food except ghee and youghort.

The chease is extra saulty most of the days I am consuming 800 grams.

So as Bunny mentioned it could be the sodium.

Why I did not suspect the salt.

I thought salt will retain water, so actualy I was planning to increase the salt intake by taking small spoon of sault, but my body was strongly refusing like if I were taking something very bad.

I was suspecting the ghee. But I am suspecting the cheese now. I stoped yesterday and I am observing now.

I was thinking maybe it is the salt but the ghee accelerates such body reaction of dehydration, urination and thirst
