My ApoE is e2/e4

#1

Got my 23andMe raw data and uploaded to Promethease.com … turns out my ApoE is e2/e4 – which I guess is pretty rare at 2% of the population… Not very desireable.

What do you guys think about that? I’ve been on keto for a couple years now… lost 100 lbs… more to lose… A1C was 10 now around 5-6 latey.

I like Amy Berger’s view on it from an Alzheimer’s POV

  • about half way down it covers APoE4 4.

There is a comment below the article which discusses the much weaker and more easily mitigated relationship to CVD risk.

I am the same. i remember reading that e2 had better ability to remove heavy metals from the body. and the e4 have no ability and the e3 fall in the middle. I wish i can remember where the info came from.
