Music 'feeling'?

I have a play list in youtube, of several music videos. When I was “well” (eating little carbs) a few years ago, I had a strong feeling on those songs.

Then, I started to eat more carbs and gain weight, and I felt that my feeling towards that music was much lower. I did not know why, and I felt bad about it.

Today I have started playing the music, and my feeling towards it is at 100% again.

Is this a known effect? Or just a N=1?

Hi @Arbre!

I might say that the carbs dulled your mind so that the full effects of the music became lost. It reverted to just sound. But the lower carbs “freed” your mind to truly appreciate the depth of the music now.

Perhaps a LCHF/Keto diet allows us to better experience spirituality on a totally new/different level…? Air smells better… Food tastes sweeter… Music sounds deeper…

Yes, I completely agree. I think I opened a thread about smelling the sea in a completely different way from before. And yes, vegetables taste sweet.

In fact, many religions supported fasting.

I love listening to music while fasting, and lots of veggies are too sweet now.
