Multivitamin and supplements

All any suggestions for best brand of multivitamins out there?

I would suggest making sure it is NSF certified.
There are three main components of the NSF dietary supplements certification program:

  • Label claim review to certify that what’s on the label is in the bottle
  • Toxicology review to certify product formulation (we don’t test for efficacy)
  • Contaminant review to ensure the product contains no undeclared ingredients or unacceptable levels of contaminants

although in all honesty just eat enough veggies, especially purple ones, and organ meats/eggs often.

Thanks I am more worried about cal meg potassium also. I try to eat vegetables as much as I can but I don’t think I eat what we need for everyday nutrition. Also I gave birth to 2 kids within year. My younger is 1 now lost all weight reached to 130 pounds from 215+ by August last year then I traveled and gained lot of weight in 4-5 months I remember seeing 162😞 again. I was so mad at myself but I was visiting my home country my family after 4 years. So I gave in I am back to 145 now but it’s a battle this time. Not loosing as fast but I am sticking to plan. Not taking any multivitamins since 8-9 months but I think I should because I am trying to fast and getting more stricter( last time I lost easily eating all day keto friendly food) this time I have to really count carbs that I never did. My goal weight is 121 god knows when I gonna get there. Oh I did not realize I wrote so much over multivitamins. Sorry

I take mulitvitamins and mineral capsules, as well. Daily. Add Vitamin D to that but not daily. Because of the keto rash am also taking chlorella and glutathione at the moment. Feel pretty fit right now for 67. Although the rash is still visible it itches very little. But I live in Europe so the brands won’t say anything to you. Just sayin.

I like supplements as well, always have a daily multivit and a fish oil capsule, and also use Caffeine with L-Theanine as it gives a really smooth energy hit without jitters (I work shifts and sometimes need a helping hand)

These are the ones I use (from Amazon)

I have to be honest, the vast majority of the expensive ones are exactly the same as the cheap ones - and most brands are completely indiscernible from each other. I think looking for filler ingredients is always a good start (found some diet pills that had maltodextrin in the other day?!) and checking reviews on the fitness/supplement pages.

Also, I am firmly of the belief that synthetic vitamins and minerals are inferior to those from real food, so I just take them really as a backup.

You’re never going to find a “best” but only what’s closest to what you want. I’m a fan right now of Elite Life Nutrition’s Multi as they have all the important stuff without a ton of garbage and Folate instead of Folic Acid.

The only supplements I know of that contain NO fillers are made by a small company called Pure Vitamin Club. I use their electrolyte supplement called Ultrasalt and also their magnesium.
