Folk like Dave Quacksprey and Paul Jaminet claim that, sans carbs, you can’t produce enough mucous.
I invite anyone who believes this claim to observe the state of my handkerchief today after a nasty cold.
That is all.

I don’t know about “enough” mucus, but I am extremely grateful that for the first time in decades I didn’t have two ten day bouts of bronchitis. I went to a lung specialist thinking my 10 years of heavy smoking had permanently damaged my lungs. He told me my lungs were healthy but that allergies and mucus were overwhelming them. I think both of us assumed the allergies were environmental. Keto has allowed me to breath clearly. I choose breathing over mucus!
