For the past year I have been doing keto and IF, usually OMAD. Lately I have noticed myself get, for a lack of a better word, hangry when I get between 12 and 16 hours fasted. After eating I feel much calmer and clear headed. Doesn’t feel like a blood sugar change, energy if fine the whole time. More like anxiety is relieved just by eating.
I am zero carb. Meat, cheese and eggs only. Not changes to diet. We do have a 6 week old and sleep is at a premium. Maybe lack of sleep + fasting is causing too much stress?
Anyone experience anything similar?
