"Miracle" Test Results

(Laurel Harrington) #1

My Endocrinologist recommended the Keto diet this past March and I just got my most recent test results.

For the first time in 12 years, I have

  1. Normal A1C
  2. Normal Triglycerides
  3. Normal liver enzymes

Blasphemer!!!

You MUST keep taking drugs and getting sicker to keep our profits up so we don’t have to answer the question ā€œhow many yachts do you need to ski behind of?ā€

j/k

That’s AWESOME news!!!

Congratulations

That’s fantastic!! My endocrinologist is so frustrating to deal with, and it takes so long to get in anywhere I haven’t tackled trying to switch yet. My liver enzymes have been off for my past two bloodwork cycles, so I have been nervous. You give me more hope!!!

Just wonderful. Congrats!!!:bacon:

Thank you, and yes, exactly! Have you seen the documentary ā€œThe Magic Pillā€ on Netflix? If you haven’t, one of the stories in it follows a hearing of dieticians in South Africa who want to strip this guy’s credentials because he recommended LCHF to a woman on Twitter. It’s a conspiracy I tell you! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::grin:

Thank you!

It took me about a decade to find the medical team I have now. It can incredibly discouraging but yes, have hope! The good ones, they are out there… :alien:

I finally watched it on Netflix a couple of weeks ago. Great film!

ā€œThe Magic Pillā€ is the show I watched back on May 25th, 2018 that introduced me to Keto. Started the next day. … Congrats!

Wish mine did! :frowning:

That guy of course is Tim Noakes, ā€œProf Noakesā€. Search this forum for the videos of the trial. He won, BTW!

My Endo doc does not recommend the Keto Diet. I am fascinated that yours does. That’s great!

That is amazing Yeah for you

WOW - Are you able to share name and location? I am sure a boatload of people from this forum would flock to that practice…

I feel incredibly lucky to have found her. I didn’t know what her methods involved, only that she had an excellent reputation and came highly recommended by several people. I don’t know the details of her story but she did tell me that she was diagnosed with one of the diseases that responds well to the diet. I guess her first hand experience has a lot to do with it. Her reputation precedes her around here so when other doctors ask who I’m seeing/where I heard about keto, they don’t caution me against it.

My heart goes out to those who are struggling through this with little to no medical support. I don’t know if I could have stuck with it if not for the help and support of her office. I encourage anyone who is struggling to keep seeking out medical staff who are knowledgeable and supportive of LCHF.

Sure, her name is Dr. Gaja Andzel in Yucaipa CA (pronounced You-kai-puh).
