Seems logical that if you sprinkle Miller’s Bran on food, the Total Carb value will decrease.

That is a very interesting first post. Most people who join the forums already know the answer to this one.
Think about what you just posted: you have something with 5 grams of carbs in it. You add 10 grams of bran to it. You now have something that contains 15 grams of carbohydrate. Ten of those grams are fibre, so if you subtract them, you have 5 net grams of carbohydrate, but if you are counting total carbohydrate, 15 grams is what you count.
I can’t figure out whether you are ignorant, joking, or trolling, but in any case, I will allow the post to stand, because we do occasionally get newbies who fall into the first category, and who need to know the answer.
Unprocessed Miller’s Wheat Bran still has digestible carbs. A 15g serving of it contains 10g total carbs, of which 6g are fiber and therefore the other 4g are digestible carbohydrates.
