Had an odd experience at Christmas Eve. Was shocked at how hard it was to not grab a cookie/treat/Carmel. Must be just so engrained in my brain. Either way, I persevered, ate shrimp, cheeses, sausage, ham, not a drop of alcohol and was treated with a 3.2lb weight gain. Think the sodium and cheese may be the culprit.

I resisted all the urges also. I had a 1.5 lb gain. At least we know how to manage it.

I only gained 2. I attribute it to cheese as well. Doubt i took in 7000 extra calories so probably just water or need to move some stuff through the system

Christmas morning, full house. Adult children asleep in their beds. Table laid for breakfast. Cooking bacon, scrambled eggs, coffee cake, juice. I’m so pleased to have them home. All were here last night. Seafood chowder, homemade crescents, salad. Lovely cookie plate. I enjoyed the chowder, cheese with dips, bit of salad, pickled herring. Blessings all, to you and yours!
