I have been on ketosis diet for 2 months my ketones will not go above 0.7 I test it after everything I do to see what is keeping it from going up .Urine strips tell me I am a little over slight ketosis also and the breathalyzer says 0.1 I use MCT oil I use coconut oil My Macros have been spot on 80 fat 15 protein 5 carbs .I have only lost two pounds up and down 2 more sometimes not sure why I should be ending menopause it’s been 6 years now .I am 186 pounds 5 ft 7 and somewhat muscular have excersise my whole life just stopped crossfit about 7 months ago the three years I was in it I never lost weight either .I have about 15 pounds I would like to loose nothing works not sure what to do how to get my ketone levels to at least read 1 to 1.5 HELP!!!

I wouldn’t worry about it, but that’s me. Any thing over .5 is good, even if it only 0.7. Your body has plenty to work with.
Have you experimented with Intermittent fasting or anything else like that? With hormones being out of wack, weight loss will occur more slowly.

I have seen this written in several places. The frustrating part for post menopausal women is weight loss is not easy, specifically due to hormone changes. Estrogen is needed for women to lose weight, and testosterone for men to lose weight. Set your expectations for slow weight loss. Also don’t just look at weight, make sure you measure too, that can sometimes be a better indicator of your success.
