Has anyone tried: Keto Chow Ultra Low Carb Meal Replacement Shake, complete nutrition for Ketogenic Diet (Chocolate 2.1, 21 Meals) ?
Looks like a good product to try as a meal replacement.

Personally I don’t think “meal replacement” is a good thing. Either eat real food or fast. And I have a general distrust of the influx of KETO commercially produced products. I don’t like the idea of an industrial entity taking control of my food content and choices. It’s what happened to “Paleo” food products. A lot of them are crap health wise but giant capital letters that say PALEO on the box suck people into something they were trying avoid in the first place, by eating in a better and healthier sustainable way. Call me a purist if you like, I don’t mind!
I love those! I always have one for breakfast and sometimes for lunch as well. You can buy individual serving sizes from Amazon to try first.
Purist!
To the OP - if it’s something you want to try, give it a try. You can determine if it’s something that works for you or not.
I chose to go with an “eat real foods, made from fresh ingredients, not manufactured in a factory, ideally without labels” approach (where practical and possible), so that product wouldn’t be for me. That’s my choice, though, and not necessarily right for anyone else.
It was just my opinion and I won’t apologize for it. And I seriously doubt that Traci would be offended by my response.
It was intended in humor, since you ASKED to be called a purist. Guess I should have stuck a smiley in there. I am also somewhat of a purist, which I thought was evident by my post.
Unless he really overhauled the formula, which he does from time to time, it’s deceptively high carb. Cream is one of those foods that only seems zero carb because of the serving size. A cup of cream has about seven carbs in it. Make sure you count them properly. I haven’t actually paid any attention to it since long before I actually went keto, so that may not be an issue anymore.
I occasionally have a strawberry flavor Premier Protein drink. If kept super-cold it isn’t bad. I’d prefer fasting or food. But I NEEEEEEED to get a good dose of protein, it has a huge effect on me in a few ways (I am 375# which I believe is part of why). So sometimes I have one of these in addition to a couple of meals. (5cho/2fib/3ecc; 30g casein protein; 160cal; and it’s also a vitamin/mineral supplement.) So far it has not prevented weight loss. The ingredients, of course, are as crappy as any other packaged food.
