Marking a category as a favorite

(Amanda Jones) #1

I was just wondering if there is any way to mark a category as a favorite. I am interested in starting a zero carb/carnivore diet, and am always going to that category straight away to see the new posts. I know how to mark a single thread as following, so that I will get notifications every time someone posts, but I want to be able to go straight to that category when I open the forums. Right now, I’m having to click on categories from the drop down menu, then click on food, then scroll all the way to the bottom and click on the zero carb category. Thanks in advance for any advice!

If you go to the category page you’ll see across the top of the page :wrench:Edit | :heavy_plus_sign: New Topic | :radio_button:

That last one is a drop down that tells you how you will be notified about posts in this category.

No, you can go into your profile and specified categories that you want to watch or track or be notified.

You can also do what you say you are doing to get to the category and add a book mark there on your bookmark bar since this site has deep linking.

Richard’s method is sort of the same as mine, but hes going from the category.

If you watch categories you can then add a bookmark to your watched categories and that will work too.
