Macros-calories

New to keto. Love it. Still have lots to learn. I like Dr Berg info. I use an app for keto to track macros. Any time I use an online macro calculator it asks for target calories per day along with other info. The target macros are calculated based on input of info. My problem is. I max out my calories but don’t not my macros!?:thinking:
Is it my food choices? I know some keto info says not to count calories but others do and i tend to believe calories matter.
Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

Forget the calculators and just keep carbs below 20g a day until you’re used to keto and your body has adapted, then tweak if necessary. It’s that simple.

Ok. Maybe need to not be so strict on those things!:grin:. I felt the benefits of keto within a few days but i am now day 17 of keto and still not showing ketones on p-stick​:confused:

Pee sticks? Throw them away. If you’re feeling the benefits then it’s working so go with it and I’ve it a chance to work.
