Maca powder, evening primrose and fish oil

(Pat) #1

Has anyone used maca powder and what did you think ? I read it’s good for menopause/post menopause.
Would taking evening primrose oil and fish oil caps be a good way to increase fat intake?

I don’t know about menopause but it sure gives you some energy in the bedroom department lol.

And that’s exactly what I wanted to know ha ha. Thank you I’ll be getting some today.

I see you are in Brisbane where do you buy yours from? I’ve looked in Woolworths and only found the powder which is 7.6gs carbs for 10grams. I haven’t seen an capsules anywhere yet. I’m at Chermside

Try the health food shops, they generally sell the powder or the tablets.
Some people say the powder has a greater effect but I’ve only tried the tablets.

Thank you.

Low carb Malted Milk Ice Cream (made with Maca powder).
Put on Barry White, feed your Sweetie some ice cream, and … smile at each other.

Does it work that quick?

So does anyone take evening primrose oil or fish oil and does it count towards the fat intake? :grinning:

I’m guessing a good foot rub would work faster!

And I take Krill Oil. Have been doing low carb/then LCHF/then Keto since 2008. Sometimes I track (using Cronometer), sometimes I get burned out on it for a while. But I’ve never tracked pills/supplements. For me, that’s just asking for frustration. This is for life for me. Gotta be doable in real life. Tracking pills would just send me to Nutsville.

But… to each their own. :pill::pill:

Thanks it was just a thought really. I wouldn’t substitute anything for fat I love fat.
