I apologize if this has been asked before. I did do a search on the forum but didn’t find the answer I was looking for.
I just got my blood work back. At my appointment I asked the NP to run my A1C and Insulin as I had never had them checked before. I do not have any history of diabetes so I am very fortunate but have lived most of my life as a carb addict.
Anyway, my A1C is 4.8 which I understand is good and my Insulin is 1.4. It was tagged on my results as low. My question is (and forgive my ignorance) because it is low does that mean that I am not insulin resistant?
