So I found these coconut chips that are amazing. They remind me of a coconut macaroon from my childhood. Only 4g net carbs for 1/3 of a cup.

They look delicious but I’d never be able to stop at 1/3 of them!
They are so fiberous that actually after a handful your mouth gets tired from chewing. Quite a interesting feeling.
There are a lot of low cal ice creams on the market these days, using erithritol. Low carb, high fat. You can eat a whole pint, only 320 calories.
Is there an after taste? I have artificial sweeteners and even some natural sweeteners that leave an after taste.
This seems to vary per person. I haven’t noticed it but my wife feels there is. Erythritol affects my intestinal tract. But sucralose doesn’t. I personally think sucralose is the best artificial sweetener out there. It is so sweet (600X that of sugar) that you use just a tiny amount. But if you can handle the erythritol the new ice creams are a great “low cal” dessert.
