I’m absolutely loving this plan. Most of the food is amazing. Lost a bit of weight and feel better. Problem is the wife needs chocolate. She can’t stand the coconut or almond flour. Are there any other alternatives.
Loving most but need alternatives
I like Chocoperfection bars, but they’re DEEP in the pocketbook. I get the milk ones sometimes but the dark taste weird to me.
Also Lily’s chocolate chips are delightful! Not cheap either but both of these go a long way because I’m just having one square or one small handful after a meal to finish things off. Couldn’t live without them. The Chocoperfection ones are full of fat so that’s even better!
You can also take sugar-free baking chocolate, melt it in the microwave, mix it with some heavy cream and a bit of artificial sweetener and voilà! a custom-made chocolate bar.
Your homemade candy sounds good… be aware that any artificial sweetener may have an insulin response.
That’s why I left the one to use vague. I find I’m okay with Truvia, a stevia/erythritol blend, but others may not be.
Do you live near an organic market that smelled Aler Eco chocolate? Their 90% dark has 3g carbs per half-bar and only costs $4 is stores.
I’ll have to try to make the chocolate. Sounds easy and I can tweak it to her taste. Thanks.
