Lost belly fat?

Has anyone experience of going keto and loosing their belly fat? And what was your journey like?

Yes a whole heap of people here will have experienced exactly that.
I’m down 120 pounds maintained over 4 years with primarily keto now mainly carnivore.

I lost of about 45lbs last year over the course of 4 months doing keto and lots of 3 day mini-fasts. I went from beer belly to “dad bod” pretty quickly with no loose skin. This year I’m doing something similar with shorter 1 and 2 day fasts because loose skin is less of a concern. The more weight you have to loose, the more loose skin is worth considering, and the easier extended fasting is (generally). I’m going from 275 to 175.

I lifted heavy weights once per week for about 20 minutes using the method outlined by Dr. McGuff in his outstanding book “Body by Science”. All of my lifts went up over that 4 months. Lifting really helps you preserve lean mass while losing weight.

That’s what works for me, but everybody is different. There are tons of folks here who have been successful with keto, and everybody has done it a little bit differently (my approach is definitely abnormal).

I lost some belly fat over the summer in attempting a carnivore eating challenge with a group of fine, fun people in these forums. It was not easy, the eating. But while I was distracted by the community feedback and stories, the belly fat inches fell off somewhere along the way. I don’t want them back, thanks.
