I have seen many articles like this over the last several months. Hopefully for the health of society, society learns and it it will not be just a passing fad.
Looking more like this may be the year of Keto
Yes but the popularity of ketogenic diets have gained and lost popularity in the 100+ years it has been around. Sometimes people jump on board because people around them are doing it, then jump right off if something new comes along. I think the one thing all of us have in common on this forum is dedication and desire to learn as much as we can about it. I believe the more people learn about being in ketosis the more the will want to stick with the lifestyle. The lemmings unfortunately will need the FDA or some other board with some sort of assumed authority to come out and endorse it for it to catch on in mass. Think about the SAD diet and what it has done to society. LCHF was around then, yet the lemmings (myself included) ate up what the FDA fed us (pun intended). Heck even the majority of doctors and nutritionists jump on board. Time will tell but things are looking good.
I also hope this is the beginning of a trend away from the one-size-fits-all approach that various institutions have convinced the public is true.
