River is stunning, perfect name for a cat with that colouring! Ragdoll’s have such beautiful, gentle natures.
None of my cats are related except Ollie (cross eyed) and Axel (Blue cat). Ollie is Axel’s uncle

Ya, I realized afterwards that it probably couldn’t have been mom if they are 2 weeks apart.
Otherwise, suuuuper long labor.
Named for her blue eyes and personality. She had a beautiful nature with me, and after some time, with my significant other. Others… well, she pretty much seemed to want us to be the only people on the planet. (We believe she had a little bit of something else mixed in. Himalayan or Siamese.) She was super floppy and fun to pick up. Can’t tell from the pics cause we brushed her, but her underside was curly fur. I’d love to have another some day.

I only have the 2 now. Been 3 then 2 then 3 for a while now (these 2 being the constant ones). I miss both the ones I had to let go.
I will never be a 1 cat lady for long, just too lonely without the squeaks, purrs and meows.

@HelenM, I was thinking we have the same cats too! Our little black male is a new rescue at the end of January. We thought the older girl (8 yo) was going to hate him forever, she loves dogs but hates cats, but now they’re inseparable. We lost the last of our pack of 3 dogs last summer, and Pandora, the calico, has been depressed ever since. Since we got Doodle she is much improved.

@NotRightMeow, I did mean to say welcome and congratulations on your progress, but honestly, I’m jealous of your weight loss. I haven’t lost any since the initial water weight at the outset 2 months ago. That said, I’m glad you’re here, this is the most supportive community I’ve ever encountered online!
