Little victories

Yesterday was really the first time I went out after starting keto 2 weeks ago and boy did I pick it. I went to an outdoor festival with my partner and friends. One of those street kind with every fair food you could think of. While I did have a few ultra low carb beers, I had not a single corn dog, cotton candy, funnel cake, raw fries or snow cone. Whew. We went to dinner after and I had a big bacon cheese burger (hold the bun and fries) with a blue cheese salad. I thought it would be difficult to watch those around me shove my favorite food in their mouths…fries!! I didn’t cave and odd enough, I found it pretty easy to stick to my guns. Keto on!

Great job sticking to your diet without slipping!
I went to dinner for Mothers Day and my partner had chips, I told myself… "just 1…’ it tasted SO bland, it put me right off them and I stopped craving them immediately, my partner told me he couldn’t eat them as they were too salty. Really? I sat there licking salt off my hand for the next 10 minutes until my body registered the taste lol.
