Have been into this diet for a few weeks after w loong time being off of it. Is it drinking water during meals or snaking a bad thing to do? I know that if ill eat potatoes or starches and ill combine that with meat i just cant stand for it, i eat even more and i sweat allot. On the other hand with this diet i cant keep with it unless i have water… And anyway each meal or snack has a few too much slat wich is fine for my taste and feeling all day aroung but i know for a fact that my doc coudnt agree with me on that. So will i mess up the digestion by doing this habbit? Anyone knowing the science for supporting what i am doing ?

I often have water with meals, and I think with most cultures this is true whether it be coffee, or tea, or water, or milk.
I’ve not heard of any science saying this messes with digestion so I think you are fine. If you’re thirsty you should drink.
You also tend to need to drink more on keto, which is probably why you are thirstier than normal. You also do need more salt, as you don’t hold on to it as easily because insulin is lower - keep that in mind too.
Levels of up to 5g of salt per day has been shown to be safe.
