Hi I have noticed a lot of you, when discussing keto appropriate sweeteners like stevia, you always refer to liquid stevia as the best one to use, well I can’t seem to find it anywhere in Melbourne, Australia… the one I use is the organic stevia powder… is that ok too?
Liquid stevia
Looks good

I use both occasionally
Powder and Liquid
This here is the brand…U.S.

Good Luck
I’ve always used Stevia extract since I went Keto. Ive seen the liquid kind I just grab the powder and the powder packs. So I’m in the same boat as you about using Stevia powders. Stevia is one of the sugars that’s allowed on the Keto diet. I haven’t seen where it says only Stevia liquid.
At the risk of putting too fine a point on this: It’d be wise to refrain from thinking in terms of what’s “allowed” and referring to “where it says” keto rules.
To my knowledge, there is no universal set of criteria about what is vs isn’t “keto” mostly because every one of us is different, we react differently, and we present unique challenges and existing health situations.
Some folks really need to keep themselves below 20g carb/day to achieve & maintain dietary ketosis. Many others can eat twice this much in carb (or more) without issue.
Some folks can tolerate certain specific sweeteners better than others. Certain sweeteners work well for certain individuals and yet produce misery for others. What works for me may be just awful for you.
Then again, there are plenty of people who thoroughly enjoy keto who have simply ditched those “sweet” tasting menu items entirely - so which sweetener might be best for them is moot. They don’t miss a thing. No urges. Nada.
In effect, holding up a standard set of keto rules (e.g., a set of specific ingredients) is likely to serve as unhelpful and misleading guidance for a lot of readers out there.
Remember that you’re a unique “n=1” individual and you really do need to experiment with yourself (within the limits of your health needs and constraints) to see what works best for you.
What’s more… what’s “best for you” tends to evolve over time. Please don’t get stuck thinking that what you’re doing now will be the best approach for all days in the future. It probably won’t.
Best wishes!
It’s a bit frustrating as the only stevia liquid I have found has agave in it too which is useless … I only have it every now and again so will just stick to the powder I guess
I use sweetner strictly in my daily ice coffee. I’ve been buying what’s below. I’ve been considering monk fruit but hear it’s significantly more expense. Anyone know a way to buy these smarter?
This link looks weird but it goes to the product I buy.
