Life after cheat

(Nicole Lawrence) #1

It’sy birthday week. My lovely friends decided to take me out. Let’s just say I didn’t stick to Keto and would up having about 6 beers and multiple other things. The only good thing I did was keep it sugar free.
Well big surprise my cravings came back and my ketone levels went super low. I’m actually surprised I have levels at all.
What do I do to jump my levels back.

Keep calm and keto on.

You can get back into keto quicker by 1. fasting and/or 2. working out

The quickest way is to drink exogenous ketones and/or starve yourself for a day or two (fast). Or you could just stick to your keto diet and you’ll be back up in a few days.

It’s ok to indulge a little that is not going to hurt anything at all, the longer you have been in Ketosis the faster the recovery time, as long as it is not a consistent sequence!

Enjoy life!

Don’t stress about it. Get back in the Keto seat and drive on…

Try not to stress. And if you have cravings/more hunger, you might want to eat more (keto) food until that passes. Make sure to get plenty of fat. Try to stick to discreet meal times (no snacking- if possible). I think salt helps and drinking plenty of water.

And Keto on!

It’s not a “ real “ cheat day unless ur friends ( sober driver ) took you through the late night fast food drive thru on a night light that?
Then its a complete 100% cheat birthday😅

All those yummy carby foods:pensive::joy:
The good ole WAY WAY pre Keto days

W the above :bulb:flashbacks :bulb:said…

I would just do a fast…16 hours if possible
If ur fat adapted , then u should be right back in

Good Luck

It’s fine. Exogenous ketones and maybe a fast. Or just a fast. Or just stick to keto and you will get there again.
