Lesser of two keto evils - Beer vs. Diet Soda

#21

Thought I’d update this thread. I opted for no booze during our golf round rather saving it for the evening we were going out. I’m glad I did. Ended-up getting very dehydrated and I think due to the fact that my magnesium. and potassium are on the low side I ended-up with a horrible case of vertigo or something very similar.

Did partake in a little cannabis that evening but that was it. Thank god I didn’t drink alcohol, would have only made it worse. Still dealing with some of the dizziness and I’m sipping Powerade Zero and taking Mag/Pot supplements trying to get my head on straight.

ACV and salt in water, lots of salt and chug it back. I think you made the right choice of no alcohol

ugh, had a few crafts this weekend. Just felt disgusting. I can not handle beer anymore. Its like the grain brings an instant fog and shit feeling.

Bourbon on the other hand… Party!

So… he might actually think he can hit the 7 iron 175 and pick the wrong club? Oh!! might eat a couple brats… . without the bun? Not earth shattering either way. Have fun.
Oops! This is older than dirt post. How did I find it?

Why does alcohol that has zero carbs kick you out of ketosis? Is it a metabolic thing?

Beer is healthier in my opinion, I would go with the healthier rather than low carb beer?

The 10 healthiest beers, ranked (Fox News):

  1. Pacifico. Giancoli’s personal favorite, this Mexican pilsner comes in at just 135 calories (per 12 ounces), with 12 grams of carbs.
  2. Guinness Draught.
  3. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
  4. Samuel Adams Light Lager.
  5. Abita Purple Haze.
  6. Left Hand Good Juju.
  7. Yuengling Lager.
  8. New Belgium Sunshine Wheat.

Whiskey straight. Or with ice.

I’d guess even low carb beer has too many carbs? But I don’t know I quit booze years ago. Yippee.
