Lean meats, add in the fats

Im experimenting with a different approach to keto by using lean meats and adding the fat via oils, nuts, butter, etc. Have any of yall tried this and what were your results? I did carnivore for 2 weeks using fatty meats exclusively and I didn’t seem to experience a strong state of ketosis.

My current ratios are 2.93::6.58 grams::calories fat/protein respectively. It’s pretty tough, if not impossible, to get those ratios without additional fat. I use primarily lard, palm and avocado oils to bump up the fat in my meals. My total daily calories are currently 2800, of which 2370 are fat, 360 are protein and 70 carbs. Since I use protein as the basis for my macros, I keep it constant, but fat is a minimum and carbs a max. I generally eat slightly more fat and less carbs.
