Lazy Keto meal ideas

(Samantha ) #1

What are some of your favorite lazy Keto meals? Sometimes after a long day of work and working out…I want to just be a lazy with the hubby and binge Netflix, but still be super satisfied with dinner. The cheese sticks, pepperoni and jello don’t always cut it.

Supermarket (or Costco) rotisserie chicken with bagged salad

Tuna salad and pork rinds

Carl’s Jr. low carb burger

Sometimes I eat cheese sticks, pepperoni slices and a handful of almonds or macadamias so I totally get the lazy day keto meal plan!

Ground beef fried in bacon fat; spices S&P to taste; add chopped cabbage - cook until tender. Eat with dollap of sour cream. :yum:. Doesn’t take long to prep/cook and very satisfying.

I open up a can of sardines, cut up some avocado, some cucumber slices and have a 1 or 2 boiled eggs or deviled eggs…whatever is easier.

Ditto the rotisserie chicken.

A costco angus burger (pre-cooked- so just reheat in the microwave) with blue cheese dressing.

Picante pork rinds with deli guacamole. Or cream cheese.

Tuna salad in a lettuce boat.

I saw a post once, that used Deli roast beef as a wrap, with muenster cheese, baby greens, pico de gallo, and topped off with horseradish. Love the flavors, and it’s super easy.

Ham roll-up with cucumbers and cream cheese.

@tframpire

Sounds yummy!

A whole avocado with spoonfuls of homemade ranch in the seed wells.

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #10

Bacon and eggs, or perhaps buttered cheese, or a mess of pepperoni.

Lazy keto meatloaf. Just ground beef mixed with two eggs, a bit of worchestershire and soy sauce + shredded cheese. Mix in a bowl and plop it on a baking sheet. I top it with sugar free ketchup. It takes 5 minutes to prep and tastes great.

I made a batch of cheese sauce a while ago and froze it in small batches.

Took one out yesterday, warmed it up and stirred through a tin of tuna… instant tuna mornay!

Crack Slaw. 1 pan, 20 minutes. Aptly named.

(Liz ) #14

An entire package of precooked bacon and some sliced cheese, or so I’ve heard someone mention

(Chris) #15

How long do you cook this and at what temp?

(Jay Patten) #16

I cook it on 375 under foil until it reaches 160 degrees and then I broil it uncovered for a few minutes to get a nice “crust” on it.

Never track Macros and have lost 145 lbs in just over 7 months, read a lot forums and get the impression that everyone thinks you have to track religiously to have success. Guess I am the black sheep

I think people track macros because they like doing it. For me, the great appeal of keto is never having to weigh food portions or count calories.
